With more than 25 years of experience as an internationally recognised expert, business lawyer, entrepreneur and opinion leader, Jean-Pascal initiates, develops and supports innovative projects and multi-stakeholder initiatives for rapid energy and sustainable transition by strategically mobilising key actors of institutions, organisations, technologies, law and finance.
He assists his clients, companies and institutions in France and EMEA with strategy, public policy, institutional, financial and technological frameworks, structuring, financing, investment and deployment of their renewable energy and sustainable innovation projects.
Jean-Pascal has a long-standing experience in multi-stakeholder partnerships involving organisations from different sectors of society who work together, share risks and combine their unique resources and skills to generate and maximise value towards the shared objectives. He created and led the Terrawatt Initiative which was notably instrumental in the creation of the International Solar Alliance by France and India at COP 21.
Entrepreneur and co-founder of Solairedirect, recognised as a pioneer in the provision of internationally competitive solar energy and acquired by the ENGIE Group in 2015, Jean-Pascal began his professional career as an analyst at Paribas before joining the Paris Bar at Gide, where he developed innovative legal and financial approaches primarily for energy and finance clients.
Jean-Pascal contributes to numerous institutions and initiatives promoting sustainability and the energy transition.
Jean-Pascal holds an Executive Master's degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a Certificate in Sustainability Management from Cambridge University. He also has two degrees in Business Law and Finance from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
